HERE ARE A FEW FACTS AND VIDEO PROGRAMS ABOUT OUR HISTORY
The first program premiered in January and was taped by the Harrisburg Public Broadcasting Station, WHBG Channel 20 and runs for approximately one hour. Highlighted are the 8th Ward of Harrisburg, six of our Grand Masters, and 27 Prince Hall Masons who were part of this program. Here is the YouTube link below…

The second program was taped by the Lower Paxton Township Historical Society (LPTHS). In this 1/2 hour program they highlight the Foote Family, specifically, Forrest and Frances Foote, who were caretakers of our Grand Lodge’s Linglestown Property from the 1920s to the late 1930s. Brother Forrest Foote was a member of Chosen Friends Lodge #43,Harrisburg. The YouTube Video is below...
Finally, Charles M. Hodge, Past Master of Letort Star Lodge #18, Carlisle, became the caretaker along with his wife, until the home and orphanage closed for good in the mid-1950s. Hodge’s obituary is attached, along with photos of him and his wife with our orphans.
