Prince Hall elementary school is located in the West Oak Lane. section of Northwest Philadelphia.
The school, which opened in 1973, was originally named West Oak Lane elementary school; however, it was later dedicated to Prince Hall, the founder of Prince Hall Masons and adopted by the Philadelphia Grand Lodge.
