J.W. Montay Vincent # 151 works at the Preparatory Charter School of Mathematics Science and Technology in South Philadelphia. The school is renovating to an all new technology phase by eliminating the library of books for computers. Bro. Vincent # 151 told P.M. Dr. Greg Tillery # 19 about the books being thrown out and a plan was formulated to get books from the school and donate them to our adopted school, Prince Hall Elementary under the direction of the Most Worshipful Grand Master Hon. Melvin A. Alston, Sr. # 9. P.M. Darryl Dawson # 12 (1st District President) was notified and he contacted P.M. Calvin Johnson, Jr # 30 (Adoptive School Director) and the call was made to brothers to come out and help load P.M. Johnson’s truck. The books (1000) were delivered in two days to the school and the principal, Mrs. Ragsdale was there to receive them with her librarian staff. Thank you to all.
