Masonry in Central PA

The brothers throughout the Fabulous 5th Masonic District continues to align with support the needs of others in Central Pennsylvania.  Through community engagement, education initiatives, wellness programs and more, the various lodges have a strong tradition of being active in the communities in which they live in work.  Here are a few highlights from January 2025.

Mt. Horeb #14 celebrated three Past Masters during their luncheon in Lancaster, PA.  These gentlemen were celebrated for the work they provided Masonry and the community.  They are:

Letort Star #18 partnered with Jeptha Chapter No.4 by providing lunch, toiletries, socks and detergent to Community Cares in Carlisle, PA.

Chosen Friends #43 had two Past Masters, Clarence E. Stokes, III and Tommy L. Long, Jr participate in the MLK Day of Reading.  This is a program they take part in annually through the relationship with the American Literacy Corporation.  Their purpose is to design and implement supplemental literacy programs to promote the importance of learning to elementary school students.
